Today I was really cranky, like really, really, really cranky. All I wanted to do was be held by my mom and whine and cry. Mom said that there isn't a picture today and she is sorry.

Today we went over to my friend Tristan's house so that mommy and daddy could hang out with my Aunt Heidi, Aunt Hannah and Uncle David. I hung out with Tristan for a little bit but I think I scared him and he started to cry. But I did give him some kisses! It is my new thing that I have learned but so far I only give kisses to Sofee and Rufus, sometimes my mom and to Tristan. 

Here I am leaning in to give Tristan a kiss.

Also I have two new teeth that have sprouted!! That means I have eight teeth total!

I have not been wanting to eat very many solids lately and it has been driving my mom crazy. She says that I need to eat but I prefer to drink milk. She says that I am cranky and fussy because I am not eating like I used to but what she doesn't get sometimes is that my mouth hurts because my teeth are growing. Well today she came up with a great idea!! She made me a fruit smoothie (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, pear and a little orange juice)! And it was delicious! Here I am sharing it with my dad, but I drank most of it.

Summer is finally here. It was really hot outside today so we went to the park. At the park there are water spouts that squirt out water and they are awesome!! I loved going through them and getting wet, it felt really cool and refreshing!

My mom said that she forgot to include this picture with the post from 2 days ago so she is adding it right now. I love looking outside through the sliding glass door. I yell and scream at the dogs and squish my face on the window.

Good Morning all! Today my mom, dad and I got up bright and early and walked to the park so that my mom could take pictures for my birthday invitations. WELL I woke up on the wrong side of the crib so I wasn't as happy as they hoped I would be. But my mom did get some cute shots of me.

I am 11 months old today!! Only one more month until I turn 1 year old!! 

My mom gave me some Cho's aka Cheerios so that she could try to get a few more pictures before I had a melt down but they were more of a distraction than anything else.

My balance is getting a lot better and I can stand unassisted for about 10-15seconds before I get nervous and sit down! I have also started taking a few steps here and there. But my mom says that I need to slow down because she isn't ready for me to walk yet.

Today I got to meet my mom and dad's friend Shawn (aka Shaaba). We also went to the park!! 

 If you notice the chocolate on my shirt it is because the grown ups got frozen yogurt and mommy let me taste it. I thought it was yummy but it was too cold for my mouth.

I am such a loved little boy!! I have already received two birthday presents and my birthday is a month away!! One of the presents (in the bag) is from my Tia MJ's mom and dad, and the other one (from amazon.com) is from my Tia MJ! My mom wouldn't let me open them and she told me that I have to wait until my party.

"maybe if I karate chop it it will open..."

Mom says for you to excuse my messy hair. It is getting really curly and there is no way to tame it.

I am getting braver and braver every day! I used to not go beyond the boundaries of the couch but now I use the walls to get where I want!!

I  love going to the park! I mostly like watching all the big kids play and I can't wait until I can run around and play with them!

So today my mom put me in the circle of neglect...she was doing some laundry and cleaning up the floor when we got home. I did not enjoy it that much and really wanted out. 

Now that I am more mobile I get tired and need a rest at times.

I went into the pool at my Grandma and Grandpa's house today for the first time!! At first I wasn't too sure about it but my mom gave me a pep talk and then everything was ok.

Pools are like huge bathtubs!! And you all know that I love bath time!!

Ok...I am ready to get out now!!

Today is the 100th day of my moms 365 Days of Benjamin Project!!

I have officially moved out of my little baby tub to the big boy tub!! AND I LOVE IT!!! I have so much more room to splash around play!!

Also I love to splash around the tub by 'swimming' from one end to the end!

"Ummm escooze me mom, can I have a little privacy here....I'm playing"

Learning to crawl and cruising!

Benjamin has finally started army crawling!!! He has improved a lot in a week and is now using both legs to propel himself instead of just one! He also loves to cruise the couch!

The weather has been awesome the past few days so we have taken full advantage of going on afternoon walks! I also love my new stroller and I like that it has a spot for my sippy cup that I can reach and grab whenever I get thirsty! Mommy is really proud of me because I have learned to put my sippy back into the holder all by myself!

My mom bought me some awesome new jammies!! They are awesome because they have monsters on them! She also bought me some with bugs! I know you think she is crazy for putting full body jammies on me but I don't like being restricted by blankets so I need something that will keep me warm at night!

Rufus thinks that he can hide from me on the couch, WRONG! He is not safe anymore! I am finally starting to crawl (army crawl) and I love to cruise the couch!

I found his tail and I thought it was an awesome new toy to play with!! Rufus didn't think it was that funny.

Today I went to my Weeto and Weetas house and got to go into my Crabby Pool for the first time!! 

I know that I look like I am not having any fun but the dogs were running around the backyard and I had to watch!

My mom has been working out and she left her weights on the couch so I got a hold of them and was showing her my muscles. 

These ones are really heavy!!

I finally figured out that if I can lift them if I do it one at a time.

Mom decided to take a few photos of me in my Quatchi (mascot of the 2010 Winter Olympics) Towel. She bought it for me when she went to Vancouver in January. 

In case you haven't noticed my finger is always in my mouth. I am teething and chewing on my finger soothes my gums :)
